Mends Aviation Medicine Centre is led by the Chief Medical Director, DR. MAKANJUOLA A. OWOLABI, FWACP, FRSM, FIMC, FAsMA, MBBS, MRAeS, D.Av.Med (London).

Dr. Owolabi is the Pioneer Fellow Consultant in Aviation Medicine and Internal Medicine of the West African Collage of Physicians as well as a Fellow of the U.S.A-based global Aerospace Medical Association (www.asma.org).

Since August 1982, Dr. Owolabi has been a designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) with AME #15726 by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the U.S.A.

From 1980 – 1992, Dr. Owolabi served as Chief Flight Surgeon & Specialist in Aviation Medicine in the Aviation Medicine Department of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) at NAF Base Kaduna.

Mends Aviation Medical Centre Kaduna runs aviation clinics for Pilots, Air Traffic Controllers, Flight Engineers, Cabin Crew and Pilot applicants for several countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, FAA of the USA, European Joint Civil Aviation Authorities of several countries including the United Kingdom.
